Silicon Sheet Q & AQ. Hi I have a multiple of keloids on my face and I am looking for a treatment. It has haunted me for the past 8 years now. A. We recommend a treatment of Dermaheal silicone sheeting and Rapid-heal cream. You can purchase either a larger sheet And cut to size for the areas needed to be addressed or use the disc if keloids are small enough. You must be patient and use treatment daily perhaps for two months or more for difficult keloids. Resolution usually does not occur gradually but happens rather suddenly after 2,3 ,4 months. Apply the Rapid-heal cream in the morning . At night use a combination of Rapid-heal and silicone sheeting Q. Can you tell me what product I should order? My daughter got injured last Thursday and has a deep cut under her left lower lip. It is still in the process of healing so I don't know what she will be left with. What product would be good for her and should I use it now while she is still in the healing process? A. You should start using Dermaheal silicone sheeting when the wound bed becomes dry. Add the Rapid-Heal cream for even better and faster healing results Q. I have old scars that I would like to get rid of, will your product work? A. If the scars are raised and darker, ReJuveness products will help flatten and bring back to normal color. Q. Well i was reading about your product an It sounds very promising but I have a question can your hyper cream and silicone sheets be put on your lip cause see I have a scar on my lip that raises but it not above its exactly on my upper left lip so I was wondering if this product would be safe to use there or can it be used there?please email me back asap I'll really appreciate it,I think I sent a email before but never got it returned so could you please answer back THANK YOU. A.Yes, Dermaheal silicone sheeting and Rapid-heal cream safe to use on the lip and should flatten the scar on your lip. And bring it back to normal color. Q. Hi! I have deep ice pick scars or holes in my face from acne that I used to have. Will this product work on these to improve them? Which product would you recommend? Thanks A. Although Dermaheal was not indicated for these acne ice pick scars patients using a combination of the Hyper_heal cream and Dermaheal silicone sheeting report back excellent results. Treatment time can be long five months or more. You should probably purchase a large Hyper-Heal Cream and Silicone sheet that you can. Cut to size to fit the areas you wish to address. Q. hi, i came across to yout website while surfing the net. I am from India and have a brownish complexion but i have lot of acne scar due to picking of acne. presently i m using Obagi Nuderm products for my face that has retina a in it. I also have scars on my back, arms, chest and some in my inner thighs due to acne. please let me know if your product can help me this scars are about 6 to 7 yrs old. i m getting married in April 09. pls let me know as soon as possible. A. The Rapid-heal cream and Dermaheal silicone sheeting should help and be a good adjunct to the treatment you are using Which should be exfoliating. Dermaheal will help speed up the healing and re-establishment of the top layer of skin called the stratum corneum. Q. What do i need to do or buy for removing my razor scars permanently? A. If your razor scars are flat and white there is not much Dermaheal can do. If they are red and raised Dermaheal will flatten and bring back to normal color. Use the Dermaheal silicone sheeting and Raoid-Heal cream. Q. I'm not sure if your product would be helpful for me. I have a small scar (about the size of a quarter) that has already been there for 9 months. Is it too late to treat? The scar isn't raised, its just discolored skin but it hasn't gone away after this amount of time. I don't want to try this product if there is no hope of it working. Please let me know. Thanks. A. It sounds as if your scar is hyper-pigmented. Sometimes it takes a while for this to go away. There is no guarantee that the product will work for this condition but some patients report back positive results. Q. 15 yrs.ago I had a chemical treatment that went wrong. The scab fell off before the skin healed and I still have a tightening on the side of my mouth preventing me to smile normally. Also, a raised skin and then what appears like a hole. Is there anything that can help. A. We recommend Dermaheal silicone sheeting and the Rapid-heal cream for the scarring problems you have. The silicone sheeting may relieve the tightening in short order. The Rapid-heal cream should really soften up the area To facilitate the other problems. If the raised scar is white, it may be hard the make the color even but if it is darker It should flatten and come back to normal color in three months or shorter. The whole may take five months or More to fill up. Good luck. You probably should get a large Rapid-Heal cream and you can get a larger piece of Silicone and cut it to size. A piece last three months and is re-washable. Q. I found you web site, and I am intrigued by the product. How does one use the pads i.e. do you leave them in place for several days ? or just at night or? A. You can leave them in place for a couple of days, but at least eight hours a day. You wash the silicone sheeting between uses. Q. My face is scar and black marks what type product can I use? A. We suggest the hyper-heal cream in combination with Silicon sheeting. Q. The silicon tape still works even the scar is 7 years old? Thanks A. If the scar is still red an/or raised DermaHeal products will help flatten and bring back to normal color. Q. In 2004 I've undergone open heart surgery. Since I've found that I could not wear any dress to show my breast. Would your product work for my old scar? A. If your scar is still red and raised the DermaHeal products will help flatten and bring scar back to normal color. If you are on blood thinning drugs I would stick with just the Rapid-heal cream. Q. Does this product work on surgical scars that are over 20 years old? I have raised, red surgical scars on my chest from 22 years ago. Thanks. A. The DermaHeal products will probably help flatten your scar and bring it back to normal color even though it is twenty years old. Q. Will your product work on Stretch Mark Scars? A. If they are red or darker and not white try the Rapid-heal cream and /or the DermaHeal silicone sheeting. Q. I have a hypertrophic scar on my chest which gets noticed everyday and I am in tears about 1 night a week because of it. It used to be a Keloid, but a plastic surgeon cut it out and now it is a HS and is bigger. I have used the silicone sheets and it will flatten it out, but within a hour or so it is puffed back up to the normal size and the sheets didn't help the color fade either. I am not sure what to do. I have seen a dermatologist and went through 4 injections. Nothing is helping me. I am now in tears about 3 nights a week. I used the sheets for over 6 months and wore them 12 or more hours a day. October 30th will be 1 year that I had the Keloid removed. Everyone keeps telling me to be patient, but they are not me. They don't realize what I am going through. The HS used to be painful, but since the injections it hasn't been, it does still itch though. Please help me, any advice is appreciated. Thank you soooooo very much. A. The only suggestion we can make is to add the Hyper-Heal cream along with ReJuveness silicone sheeting to your regiment. The problem with keloidal and hypertrophic scarring is that the top layer of skin , the stratum corneum does not reestablish itself. The Hyper-heal cream has the same lipids that the stratum corneum is made off and it is delivered deep into the skin so rebuilding Can happen from the inside out. The steroid injections may have destroyed the sheeting around the fibroblast which would interfere with the healing process also. Q. I am a physician. Except for surgery, there seems to be little recommended for the treatment of scar formation in Peyronies Disease. This is a devastating condition for the patient as it causes deformity. Any information/ thoughts on how your product might work in the early stages of the disease before the permanent damage occurs? Thanks in advance for your assistance. A. We are working on a patent for a transdermal collegenase, that is similar to our Rapid-Heal cream. If you have some subjects And want to do some case studies I think it has a very good chance of working. We need some scripts and I can get it formulated at a compounder who knows what he is doing. Q. hello, please i am a nigerian who had a lagrge scar on my face some 13 years back from a razor cut what is the best cream im i to apply? A. If it is a keloid (darker and raised) the best treatment is a combination of Hyper-heal cream and ReJuveness silicone sheeting. Q. Please let me know how to get your Silicon sheet for my daughter's (5 yrs old) kleoids scars due to burn injury 4 years back on arm (10x20cm)and small one on lower cheek (5cm Diametrs) A.
