The top layer of our skin which is called the Stratum Corneum contains a natural carbohydrate complex. We have duplicated this carbohydrate complex from a natural wheat . The result is a glucose derivative mixed with Aloe Peptides to effectively hold moisture like a magnet to the Keratin of our skin. The only preservative used is in the Aloe Peptide base. These are Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate, which are food grade preservatives and compliment the wheat glucose.

Finally keep this in mind; the lower the moisture accumulation on the skin surface, the better the moisture retention in the skin. Other products can steal moisture from the skin and actually make skin dryer.
